Jersey history
Liverpool’s adidas 2026/27 home shirt combines deep red with a geometric pattern running across the front and back. White shoulder stripes, the Liver Bird and Standard Chartered provide a clear contrast, completed by Expedia on the sleeve.
This size M retail version still has its tags attached. Its graphic interest lies in revisiting an older club kit through a current design: the pattern is integral to the shirt, beyond the logos.
Shirt history
Liverpool and adidas drew on the late 1980s and early 1990s for the 2026/27 home shirt. The club describes it as a reinterpretation of the kit associated with the 1989/90 English league title. This is historical design inspiration, not a trophy won in this 2026/27 shirt.
The reinterpretation uses a darker red and a revised geometric pattern. Liverpool explains that the design leaves more space around the crest and sponsor while continuing onto the back. Thick white shoulder stripes strengthen adidas’ presence.
