FC Barcelona Home 2011/12 (9/10) (M)
Jersey history
FC Barcelona’s 2011/12 home shirt uses narrow red and blue stripes with varying widths and outlines. Blue sleeves, a red round neck and yellow lettering frame the pattern, with Qatar Foundation on the chest and UNICEF at the lower back.
This size M retail version has no player nameset, leaving the stripes fully visible. It belongs to Pep Guardiola’s final season as Barcelona coach, which ended with victory in the Copa del Rey.
Shirt history
The 2011/12 season closed Guardiola’s time in charge of the first team. Barça finished second in La Liga and reached the Champions League semi-finals, where Chelsea ended their run. Individual achievements and mixed collective outcomes made it a season of contrasts.
Messi scored 50 league goals and 73 in all official club competitions. At Camp Nou, his five goals against Bayer Leverkusen helped secure a 7–1 Champions League round-of-16 second-leg win, with Tello scoring the other two.
On 25 May 2012, Barcelona beat Athletic Club 3–0 in the Copa del Rey final. Pedro scored twice and Messi once. It was the club’s 26th Copa del Rey and the final trophy of Guardiola’s tenure.
The results and players are detailed in FC Barcelona’s official 2011/12 report. The irregular stripes and Qatar Foundation marking place this model clearly among the home shirts of the early 2010s.

Why we like it at Maillots Market
We like how Nike brings movement to a familiar colour combination. Changing stripe widths create small graphic breaks, while the plain sleeves give the shirt its own visual rhythm.
Without a nameset, the design can be appreciated from both front and back. Yellow lettering adds contrast without hiding the pattern. Its place in Barça’s history also matters: it represents Guardiola’s last campaign and the team’s achievements through the visible details of that era.
